HoneyNaps announced that it was selected as a representative excellent project in the medical sector at the 'AI Voucher Performance Report Meeting and 2024 (Preliminary) Business Briefing' hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA). The company shared its achievements with businesses wishing to participate in this project.
About 600 attendees from demand and supply companies of AI vouchers and related organizations participated in the performance report meeting, where HoneyNaps presented the process and key outcomes of its AI voucher supply project, which was recognized as an excellent project in 2023 for its 'Deep Learning Algorithm-Based Sleep Disorder Diagnosis Automation Solution.'
The AI voucher project is a policy initiative aimed at expanding the utilization of artificial intelligence across various industries, focusing on sectors that are closely related to the lives of citizens and have significant economic ripple effects. Specifically, it provides vouchers to demand companies that require AI technology, allowing them to purchase and utilize solutions from AI solution providers, thereby fostering the growth of AI companies and promoting the digital transformation of related industries. Vouchers worth up to 200 to 300 million KRW are supported.
A representative from HoneyNaps stated, "Participating in the AI voucher project for three consecutive years and receiving FDA approval in the U.S. last August is highly significant." They added, "We plan to actively participate in applying our know-how and technology, gained through collaboration with global as well as domestic partners, to AI business."
